These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of paragongaragedoorsal.com (the "Site") and any service you request from Paragon Garage Doors ("we," "our," "us"), a division of Paragon Builders, licensed and operating in Alabama since 1994.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using this Site, requesting a quote, or scheduling service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Service scope

We provide garage door repair, installation, replacement, spring service, opener service, and commercial door service across Alabama. All services are subject to on-site inspection. A written estimate will be provided before any work begins. You must approve pricing before we perform any repair or installation.

3. Pricing and payment

• All prices quoted verbally or via phone are subject to on-site verification.
• A flat written quote will be provided before any physical work begins.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless financing is arranged in advance.
• We accept credit card, debit card, cash, and check. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.

4. Warranty

• Labor: 3-year warranty on all repair work.
• Torsion springs: Lifetime warranty on spring replacements (manufacturer-backed).
• LiftMaster openers: 7-year warranty (manufacturer-backed).
• Clopay doors: Lifetime warranty on door sections (manufacturer-backed).

Warranty is void if the door or opener is serviced by a third party, modified, subjected to abuse, or damaged by events outside normal residential use.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment at no cost up to 2 hours before the scheduled arrival window. Cancellations within 2 hours of the window may be subject to a $75 trip fee if a technician has already been dispatched.

6. Emergency service

Emergency (after-hours, weekend, holiday) service is available 24/7. Emergency rates apply for calls outside standard business hours (8 AM–6 PM weekdays). Rates will be disclosed before dispatch.

7. Communications consent

By submitting your phone number through our Site or to a technician, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Paragon Garage Doors related to your service request, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of future messages. Standard carrier rates apply.

8. Website use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest content except as permitted by our robots.txt
• Copy, reproduce, or republish Site content without written permission
• Interfere with Site operation, security features, or other users
• Impersonate our business or staff

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Alabama law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services or your use of this Site shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes will be resolved first through good-faith discussion, then through mediation in Jefferson County, Alabama, before any litigation is filed.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
