DISPATCH 24/7
We answer 24/7., asks you to describe what broke or show a photo over text, then quotes a flat number before we send anyone. If we can't help, we tell you who can.

Spring, opener, panel, cable, track, or full replacement — we stock parts for all of it on every truck.
Snapped torsion spring with a clear gap in the middle = you're stuck. Most common call we get. We stock every common size on every truck. In and out, usually 45 minutes.
Opener won't respond, motor hums but door won't move, or sensors keep flashing? We service LiftMaster, Genie, Chamberlain, and Sommer. MyQ retrofits available on most models.
New door installs start with a free onsite measure. Steel, insulated steel, wood, glass-aluminum. Same-day removal of the old door on install day. Hauled off, not left in your driveway.
Answering at 11pm on Christmas isn't a marketing line. It's the job. Truck rolls within two hours in metros, four in rural. Trip charge waived if you book the repair.
Most opener failures we see: circuit board fried by a storm surge (LiftMaster and Chamberlain both susceptible). Second: safety sensors misaligned — door reverses every time because the photo-eyes aren't seeing each other. Third: motor gears worn out on units past 12 years. We diagnose over the phone from your description before rolling a truck.
When replacement is smarter than repair (usually past 30 years old with a burnt motor), we pick based on your garage:
Belt drive (quietest, best for garages below bedrooms) — LiftMaster 8500W or Chamberlain B6753. $350–$500 installed.
Chain drive (workhorse, best value) — LiftMaster 8365 or similar. $300–$400 installed.
Screw drive (low maintenance, good for extreme temps) — Genie 2027 or similar. $350–$450 installed.
Wall-mount jackshaft (for garages with high ceilings or no overhead space) — LiftMaster 8500W. $600–$750 installed.
All post-2011 LiftMaster and Chamberlain units accept MyQ smart retrofits for $50 extra. Older units need a full replacement to get WiFi.
10–15 years with normal residential use. Alabama summer heat and humidity shorten this closer to 10. Rentals and commercial: 6–8 years from cycle wear.
If it's a LiftMaster, Chamberlain, or Craftsman post-2011, yes — $50 MyQ module. Pre-2011 or other brands usually need full replacement (~$350 installed) to get smart features.
99% of the time it's misaligned safety sensors (photo-eyes on either side of the door, 6" off the ground). Something bumped one or cobwebs are blocking the lens. Free fix if you can do it yourself: align until both LEDs are solid. Or call us — $150 diagnosis-and-fix.
Belt if the garage is below a bedroom (quietest). Chain for best value and simplest repair. Screw for extreme temperature swings or if you hate maintenance. For most Alabama homes, belt drive is the right call.
Yes if you'd be stuck without power access to your garage — a detached garage, a medical equipment in there, or anywhere ice storms knock out power for 12+ hours. Adds $100 to a new install. For most attached-home Birmingham/Hoover owners with another exit, skip it.

We've watched too many Alabama homeowners get re-dispatched three times for a broken spring. That's why we stock parts on every truck, quote over the phone, and send the same tech from call to fix.
"Spring snapped at 8:40 PM on a Sunday. Wife's car was locked inside. Guy on the phone told me it sounded like a torsion break, quoted me flat over the phone . Two hours later we were parked in the garage again. Same number he quoted, no tricks."
"Storm knocked out our opener and bent the top panel. Two other companies wanted to sell us a whole new door. Paragon replaced just the panel and the opener motor for under half. Still looks brand new a year later."
"Honestly my LiftMaster died after 12 years and Paragon told me up front the old unit wasn't worth repairing. Installed a new belt-drive opener the same afternoon. Walked me through the MyQ app before he left. Didn't try to upsell me on anything."
Dispatch trucks based in Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Mobile — covering the entire state with same-day response. If your city's not listed, call anyway. We probably still come.
